Job Summary
The post holder will be responsible for the successful delivery of our in-house talent programme to support succession planning, to a high standard and in a cost effective way aligned of the Learning and Development Strategy.

To identify appropriate training and development solutions and methodology for all interventions, using a blended approach and following 70:20:10 principles to ensure transfer of learning in the workplace and maximise impact.

Occasionally situations may arise that require the post holder to perform other duties or tasks as may be reasonably requested by the Society.
 
Key Responsibilities
The post holder shall:

Design, deliver and evaluate our in-house talent programme to support succession planning, to include stretch assignments and tailored development plans.
Design, deliver and evaluate development activities to support the personal development of our Interns and Graduates. 
Implement and manage an internal coaching and mentoring pool.
Evaluate all training and development activity in line with the Society’s evaluation framework, producing statistical and evaluation reports as required.
Analyse and interpret Performance and Progression Review outputs, management development evaluation data and colleague survey information to inform content, design and delivery of all development activity.
Work collaboratively with Group L&D colleagues to design and develop an end to end programme for our aspiring managers and leaders, and ensure consistency across with all management development activity across the business.
Supervise central L&D team members to provide the appropriate support to ensure they can effectively carry out the requirements of their role.
Working closely with administrative support to schedule and promote management development activity, ensure LMS is kept up to date, and produce programme materials.
Review and amend development programmes as necessary in order to adapt to changes occurring within the business and to reflect current L&D trends and best practice.
Support the design and delivery of Leadership Team development activity, as required.
Work effectively with Learning and Development colleagues to ensure a team-working culture, providing a sound corporate approach to problem solving and service provision across all Groups.
Proactively update his/her knowledge and satisfy continuing professional development requirements.
Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work.

Qualifications
 
Appropriate L & D  qualification or minimum of 1 years’ experience in a related training delivery role
Desirable that the post holder has action learning facilitation and/or coaching experience
Desirable that the post holder has management experience
Must have current driving licence and own vehicle which is insured for business use
