Job Summary
  • To provide an efficient and effective service to all our customers, understanding their needs and promoting our services and products at all times.
  • To comply with all Post Office and Midcounties policies and procedures.
  • Occasionally situations may arise that require the post holder to perform other duties or tasks as may be reasonably requested by the Society.
Key Responsibilities

The post holder shall:

  • Complete a P250 and undertake regular compliance tests as instructed by Post Office Limited.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Actively promote all relevant products to our customers.
  • Follow all internal procedures with regards to cash and stock management.
  • Ensure all society policies and procedures are followed
  • Attend and participate in regular workshops/training sessions.
  • Ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy and adhere to all safety/security practises.
  • Ensure punctuality and personal appearance standards are met in line with society uniform standards.
  • Work with all colleagues to develop the sales opportunities and improve the service we provide.
  • Willingness to work with and assist our retail colleagues when required.
  • Ensure customer complaints are dealt with professionally and processed speedily in line with the society’s complaints procedure.

In addition, all employees are expected to work within the terms of their contract of employment and adhere to Society policies and procedures.
